The idea for this book project emerged during a period of uncertainty – but the clarity of the idea, the potency in the simplicity of the question “how can two almost identical cats be such diametrical opposites of each other yet peacefully co-exist? How do they navigate such a wide chasm of difference without imposing their individuality on one another the way humans do?”
So I began to put together a short story/humor series - of all things about my 2 cats (Lulu and Lucy) who while physically identical, from a personality standpoint could NOT further from being on opposite ends of the spectrum. The irony involved has multiple layers - least of which, how they both came to be in my life and the fact that I’d never considered myself a cat-person - only to find myself with TWO and “documenting their shenanigans” as my sister put it!
